Dear friends and supporters,
The annual Christmas campaign for our children and young adults in Lithuania has been a particularly nice part of our activities for 21 years and always brings great joy to us and the recipients. This year we have chosen sports bags as gifts that can be used for games, sports and small trips. In total, we want to give away 85 practical sports bags (35 of them for the children in the Marijampoles Children’s Village and 50 for the young adults in the PATRIA program) as well as host nice Christmas parties and hope for your support.
This year the sports bags will be purchased in Lithuania. From Germany we send our Christmas cards to Lithuania. There they will be packed with the sports bags and distributed at Christmas. Our request now is as follows:
- Please adopt a sports bag as a gift for your sponsored child or for a young adult in the PATRIA program and donate 30 euros for it. From this amount the sports bags will be bought in Lithuania.
- Please write a Christmas card to your sponsored child, preferably with a photo, in English or German.
- Make a general monetary donation of your choice to support the Christmas celebrations in each Children’s Village family and the purchase for the family Christmas packages, which will include tea, cookies, snacks and candles, and which will also be assembled by the team on site. We would also like to give a small Christmas present to the mothers and aunts in the Children’s Village and the social workers at PATRIA in recognition of their great work.
Ingrid Debald has taken over the coordination of the Christmas campaign. We ask for news until November 25, 2018, if you would like to take over a Christmas gift or donate some money for the Christmas parties.

Please send the personal Christmas letter for the sponsored child to Ingrid Debald, Westendstr 68, D – 60325 Frankfurt/Main by December 3, 2018 at the latest, so that we can send all letters to Lithuania by mail in time
