Herewith we would like to thank you for your loyal support in 2022 and for your generous donations for the Christmas campaign! In total, we received about 9,000 euros in donations during the Christmas campaign, of which we will use 50% for the Medical Relief Fund.
The 2022 Christmas gift – a trendy drinking bottle – has brought great joy to all recipients in Lithuania and is gladly used. Further down in the letter you can read some dear words of thanks from Lithuania. Foster mom Sonata wrote, “You guys are amazing – you thought of everyone with your Christmas campaign!”
Die Trinkflasche mit unserem neuen Vereins-Logo ist ein positives Symbol für unsere Aktivitäten in Litauen, denn sie steht für:
- Continuity, because for 25 (!) years now we have been organizing annual Christmas campaigns with nice gifts for our protégés in Lithuania,
- Reorientation, because in recent years we have concentrated on the educational support of about 60 young people and have taken this development into account with our new association name “Kinder- und Jugendhilfe in Litauen e.V.”, new logo and new Internet presence.
Thanks to your loyal support, dear friends and supporters, we are looking positively to the new year, when we will continue to support the PATRIA program for young people in vocational training and do good for the children in the Marijampole Children’s Village and Sonata’s foster family. Likewise, we will help the young woman Gabija financially and mentally with her lengthy dental treatment and also use the Medical Aid Fund for other treatments.
We sincerely wish that you will join us on our trip to Lithuania from September 7 to 10, 2023 and thus get to know our protégés and our programs as well as the beautiful country of Lithuania! Please reserve this date already. More information will follow.

Thank you letter from Sonata, head of the foster family in Marijampole
Hello dear all, thank you for your care and gifts!
Waiting for the holidays is always the most memorable and happy time for our children: the children wrote letters to Santa Claus (the mailbox was located in the town square), they even received a reply🤗. It was a great pleasure to see the happy and surprised faces of the children. ☺️ Every year we decorate the house with Christmas paraphernalia, bake Christmas houses and cookies for our sponsors, good people, cooperating people😋. This year we even welcomed a Santa Claus at home (ERGO insurance prepared the show).
We visited the church for Mass and saw the performance “The Birth of the Shepherd” 🤗. We actively participated in a community event and decorated our tree in the city park together with other organizations 🌲. We sincerely thank you for not forgetting us ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you very much for all the gifts and your support. Everyone has been thought of in our house – from the youngest to the employees. You are unglaublich😘💝.

In the run-up to Christmas, people want to give thanks and rejoice in the results that the year has brought. The greatest gift this year was to experience our youth at the Alumni Reunion (in Sept. 2022) and to be there with our entire PATRIA team and understand the (positive) impact of our work.
Thank you for your lively, sincere and open concern for our community. Thank you for being a very important part of this.
Thank you for your love, warmth and support and for your lived examples (role models) that are inspiration for our youth in the PATRIA program.
